Manchester City have taken complete advantage of their game in hand to deny Arsenal the top spot in EPL Standings after beating Spurs 2-0 in their title-deciding clash yesterday. The match was a postponed matchday 34 game, a game in hand that now sees City upend Arsenal's lead in the PL 23/24 title race.

City will now face West Ham on Championship Sunday and by winning that game, they'll have made history by winning the English Premier League four times in a row, a feat yet to be achieved in the league's history.

Dimming UCL Hopes for Spurs

On the other hand, the loss against City means that Spurs will likely miss out on automatic UEFA Champions League qualification as it now leaves them fifth in the EPL Table with 68 points. Nonetheless, Spurs have had an impeccable season with our hats going off to their coach Ange Postecoglou for his prowess.

A Seeming Loss for Arsenal

Manchester City's win yesterday now dethrones Arsenal from the top of Premier League Standings. Arsenal have been very formidable this season, really giving City a run for their money and we have to salute them for their beautiful performance this season. All is not lost yet and Arsenal may surprise us.

PL Standings Thus Far

As things stand, Manchester City are now first in the PL Table with 88 points, followed by Arsenal who've now fallen to second with 86 points. In third place is Liverpool with 79 points, followed by Aston Villa who are fourth with 68 points. Tottenham come in at fifth with 63 points. If things stand, Aston Villa will finish fourth in the EPL for the first time in just under 30 years, a momentous feat.
