Arsenal Draw Man City

Arsenal, hot on the heels of the defending champs Man City, were playing away in a fight that could well be one of the most crucial as the Premier League title race hits fever pitch. Arsenal went up against City in what was a game not to miss. Both teams went in all claws but neither could best the other, ending the match in a disappointing goalless draw.

A draw, both teams would argue, isn't all that bad as each got a point but from a fan's perspective, it was underwhelming, to say the least.

Form-wise, both teams are playing well, each showing good quality and playing like a league contender. Thing is, the team to win the English Premier League this season will need much more pizazz and oomph, to allow them glory.

Liverpool Beat Brighton

On their part, Liverpool beat Brighton 2-1, further bolstering their grip on the top of Premier League Standings. Brighton's Danny Welbeck opened the scoring for the match, scoring early in the 2nd minute of the game. Despite the quick challenge, Liverpool were put ahead by a Luis Diaz goal in the 27th minute, with Mo Salah making it two come the 65th minute.

Liverpool remain atop the EPL Table with 67 points, only two points ahead of Arsenal who come in second with 65 points, and three points ahead of Man City who are third with 64 points. To maintain this lead, 'The Reds' will need to pull a glorious run, especially now that their coach Jurgen Klopp is set to leave at the end of the current season.

Manchester United Draw Brentford

In another non-doozy, Man United drew Brentford 1-1 after the 'Red Devils' failed to conjure up any hot fury. Mason Mount scored United's only goal in 90 + 6' with Brentford's Kristoffer Ajer equalizing in 90 + 9'. There isn't much to say about this result as Man United are currently sixth on the EPL Table with a measly 48 points.

Chelsea Draw Burnley

As if Matchday 30 was meant for draws, Chelsea, the sleeping giant, drew Burnley 2-2, in a somewhat shocking turn of events given that Burnley are a team that juggles with relegation now and then.

Palmer Brace

Cole Palmer scored a brace for Chelsea, first converting a penalty in the 44th minute, and then topping it up with a cherry second in the 78th minute. Josh Cullen scored Burnley's first in the 47th minute and Dara O'Shea scored their second in the 88th minute.

Chelsea are currently eleventh in the Premier League table, having only managed to gather 40 points this late into the season. There's not much to say here besides pull up your socks, Chelsea!

Tottenham Beat Luton Town

In another of GW 30's matches, Spurs beat Luton Town 2-1, a not-so-bad performance considering that every 3 points any team gets could really mean a lot as we are nearing the end of the season. Luton Town's Issa Kabore gave Tottenham their first after scoring an own goal in the 51st minute, with Spurs' Son Heung-Min putting in their second in the 86th minute. Luton's only goal was a 3rd minute score by Tahith Chong.
