Why the Future is Female

The election of Kamala Harris as the first woman vice president in the United States has ushered in a new era. The future is for sure female, and 2020 ushers in a new era in female leadership. Women have historically borne the plight of a patriarchal society and have had to work twice as hard to prove themselves and their place in the world.

Kamala Harris: A Woman of Firsts

Kamala Harris is the first woman Vice President of the United States, the first woman of color to be Vice President, and the first woman of Indian and Jamaican descent to be Vice President. She is also all-American, having been born and raised in America. She is the symbol of diversity and is a living testament to how diversity can bring us together.

Vice-President Kamala Harris Opens the Floodgates for Women in Leadership Globally

Kamala Harris has opened the floodgates for women in global leadership and has asserted the role of women worldwide. In her victory speech, she said that she was the first but ‘not the last’ and that she was ‘standing on the shoulders’ of all women and especially women of color, who have been the backbone of society.

Women have contributed immensely to society as it is today and have historically been marginalized in realizing leadership positions and even equal rights with their male counterparts. Women have had to fight for their rights in all spheres of society and work twice or thrice as hard to get to where men are. They also face numerous hurdles compared to their male counterparts in career progression and leadership, and other roles in society.

The Future is Female, and It is Female Deservedly

The future is female, and it is female deservedly. Women are consolidators and will quickly turn a small opportunity into an empire. We men have always been good at finding or hunting but fail in consolidating or gathering. Women are better consolidators and planners and will build something block by block in a sustainable and long-term way.

Women are also good at deploying resources and will ensure what is spent is spent wisely and in a way that complements the overall plan or business. Men will quickly lose their grip on the overall plan when in possession of resources. They will quickly seek to make some money for themselves and not reinvest as women would.

A Majority of Successful Companies and Organizations Run by Women

Of the most prosperous organizations and companies in the world, a majority are run by women. Women play a pivotal role in numerous international organizations, unions, and governments, including the European Union, The International Monetary Fund, The International Labour Association, the UN, and other non-governmental organizations.

Women have proven their role as capable, responsible, dignified, diligent, and reliable leaders. They have shown time and again their resilience, commitment, dedication, hard work, professionalism, and ethics. Women are just what the world needs to get to a utopian society. It may sound too flowery, but the truth is that there is so much value in the feminine role in society.

Women Are the Backbone of Society

Girls run the world and have run it from the ground up for millennia. Women are the backbone of society as they have raised all of us, taught us, and propped us up to become who we are. We depend on the female society for life and ensure the continuity of society and the human race.

Their role may have been denied, and they may have historically been subjugated, but they are now on the brink of a new era of female prowess. Women will determine the future, and it is the role of all members of society and especially men, to support them in whatever way possible. Supporting the girl child is tantamount to laying a foundation for a prosperous future.

Women at the Forefront of Fighting Totalitarianism and Censorship in China

On the other side of the world, women have played a crucial role in fighting totalitarianism and censorship in China. They have been at the forefront of the Hong Kong protests, propping up the protests and supplying water and first aid kits and services to those injured and teargassed. Women are the soul of society and ensure that the world remains in its senses, and that is a role that is more crucial than we care to admit.
