Vanessa Mdee and Rotimi are Expecting a Baby

Vanessa Mdee, 32, and her Nigerian born fiancé, Akinosho Olurotimi, popularly known as Rotimi, 33, announced that they are expecting a baby on Instagram. Vanessa and Rotimi have been engaged since 30th December 2020 and were overjoyed to let the world know that they are pregnant and are expecting a bundle of joy.

Vanessa: "The Greatest Gift of All"

Showing baby bump pictures, Vanessa said that it was “the greatest gift of all. Thank you Jesus for choosing us. It is a true honor. We are overjoyed.” Rotimi on his part announced that the baby’s gender is male, vowing to protect him and his mother. Rotimi said that “my greatest gift has been you [Vanessa], you changed my life and now we are beautifully linked forever, to raise a little us. I pray our son has your glow, your heart, your mind and your spirit. I will protect you and our son with everything I have.”

A Smooth Pregnancy

According to Vanessa, the pregnancy has been smooth thus far, saying that “he’s been good to us. No real pain or symptoms. Some funny cravings and food aversions here and there. It’s been much harder in these final weeks because he’s preparing his arrival, but all in all we have been super blessed.” Vanessa and Rotimi have had a stable relationship thus far and their son is likely to compound it and make it even stronger.
