Thomas Tuchel Set to Take over as Bayern Munich's New Coach
Tuchel is sure to win Bayern Munich the UEFA Champions League as he did for Chelsea.
Former Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel is set to take over as Bayern Munich's new coach, reports indicate. Tuchel was sacked by Chelsea after going through a rough patch, a decision that Chelsea fans have since condemned with many asking that he go back to the club. He's since been out of work and traveling the world.

Bayern Munich are set to sack their current coach Julian Nagelsmann. The feeling with the club's management is that Julian has not done as good a job as they expected and Bayern is suffering for it. Bayern is currently second in the Bundesliga and Nagelsmann has also failed to ensure sufficient player development in his tenure.

As such, they are said to be in the process of having Tuchel sign a contract as the club's new manager, effectively kicking Julian out. Tuchel has agreed to become the club's manager and is said to have not hesitated.

Tuchel's contract will run until June 2025. He is also said to have been on his way to Tottenham Hotspur, to discuss possible appointment as Spurs' manager, but diverted to head to Bayern Munich. Bayern also officially sacked Julian Nagelsmann, blaming his sacking on stunted player development and poor performance.
