The Lost City Movie Review

Author Loretta Sage, played by Sandra Bullock, is about to undertake her book tour for her latest book ‘The Lost City of D’. She tags along with her cover model Alan, played by Channing Tatum, who goes by the stage name ‘Dash’. Things get sticky, however, when she is whisked into a car and kidnapped.

Treasure-Hungry Billionaire

Loretta’s kidnapper is Abigail Fairfax, a treasure-hungry billionaire who is looking for the real-life treasure of the lost city. Fairfax comes across Loretta’s book and is convinced that she can translate ancient writings to help him find the location of the treasure.

Dash to the Rescue

When Loretta is taken, her cover model Dash, who she doesn’t particularly like, sets out to rescue her. Dash and Loretta’s manager, Beth, recruit Jack Trainer, played by Brad Pitt, to help them rescue Loretta.

True Treasure

On getting to the lost city, Loretta and Fairfax discover the location of the hidden treasure. It isn’t though, what Fairfax expects or even wants but to Loretta, there couldn’t be treasure that is more beautiful.
