The band has been together for about two decades now and has released numerous highly-acclaimed albums. The band is made up of Bien-Aime Baraza, Polycarp Otieno, Willis Chimano, and Savara Mudigi.

Why is Sauti Sol Splitting Up?

Sauti Sol is splitting up and taking an "indefinite hiatus" to allow each of the band's members to take on their individual projects. It's a common phenomenon for bands to split up; after each of the members starts to pursue their individual careers and feels they have come of age in their craft.
