There is word that Ajax’s manager Erik ten Hag will be coming to Manchester United and the players seem to be already excited at the good news. We have complained time and again that it is folly management that is ailing United and are very excited to see ten Hag possibly come to Old Trafford. If United’s performance against Brentford is anything to go by, then we have reason to look forward to an amazing EPL 2022/23.

Manchester City in Gameweek 35 floored Leeds 4-0 in their usual spectacular fashion. The match was always going to be a walkthrough but the professionalism and grit Man City showed is just on another level. It’s not to say that Leeds never stood a chance but only that City are in top form and as they look to secure a spot in the Champions League finals, their training is definitely helping even in the EPL.

Tottenham beat Leicester 3-1

Tottenham, on their part, have grown increasingly stronger since the arrival of Antonio Conte, and this strength was portrayed in matchweek 35 when they beat Leicester 3-1. Tottenham are most likely going to end up in the top four of the EPL, largely thanks to the turnaround brought about by Conte’s magic. However, they have currently been upended and pushed to fifth by Arsenal, a surprise comeback.

Everton Edge Over Chelsea 1-0

Everton pulled a surprise win in gameweek 35 when they beat Chelsea 1-0. Chelsea have been a strong team all through the season, even as they’ve had to watch league leaders Manchester City and Liverpool battle it out for the EPL title and concede to third place. Even so, Chelsea have what it takes to stay in the top four and are definitely going to bring more heat next season.

Brighton beat Wolves 3-0

Brighton beat Wolves an astounding 3-0 in what seems to be a final hurrah this season. Brighton have had a pretty decent season as have Wolves, and showed great control of the ball in their game, culminating in a win.

Gameweek 35 of the English Premier League saw numerous goals as teams now consolidate the points they have collected and prepare themselves mentally for the positions where they are likely to end up come the end of the EPL 2021/22 season. Burnley beat Watford 2-1 as Aston Villa beat Norwich 2-0. Liverpool were not left behind and beat Newcastle 1-0, a dismal performance for a team of their stature. Arsenal, on their part, beat West Ham 2-1.

In third place is Chelsea with 66 points, followed by Arsenal who have gone up to fourth with 63 points.

Tottenham sit in fifth place with 61 points, followed by Manchester United who are sixth with 58 points. A largely improved West Ham sits at seventh with 52 points, followed by Wolves who are eighth with 49 points.
