Manchester City Awarded the EPL 2022/23 Trophy as they Beat Chelsea at Home in the Etihad

Manchester City today were presented with the English Premier League trophy after successfully retaining the title for the third year in a row now. City have fought impeccably hard for this trophy and are in the running for the FA Cup and Champions League titles whose finals will be played in the coming days. Man City have now won the English Premier League for the 7th time and the third time in a row.

Man City Beat Chelsea at Home for their Final Home Match of the Season

Manchester City beat Chelsea 1-0 before they were awarded the much-deserved EPL trophy. Man City's Julian Alvarez put the home side in the lead in the 12th minute. City are now atop the EPL Table with 88 points, with Arsenal a further second with 81 points.

Chelsea Finish in the Bottom Half of the EPL Table with the Lowest Points in 27 Years

Chelsea have finished in the bottom half of the EPL Table with the lowest points in 27 years. The result is hugely disappointing for 'the Blues' as they went on to lose their sixth consecutive match against Manchester City.

Chelsea are now 12th in the EPL Table with 43 points. The loss is momentous for Chelsea and the team will need a thorough overhaul to pull themselves out of the mud.

He is now keen to give everything he has to try and win the treble, and especially add that elusive UEFA Champions League trophy for Man City to his cabinet. He is especially proud of Ilkay Gundogan, the team's 5-time EPL winning captain, who he signed early on in 2016 when he joined the club. Erling Haaland has also been super phenomenal for the club and was such a priceless signing.
