Immediately after he got injured, Lisandro Martinez was heartbroken and could be seen in tears as he was helped off the pitch. Martinez Off for the Rest of the Season

Lisandro will take the rest of the current season to recover and is expected to fully recover by the start of next season. He fractured his metatarsal bone on his foot during the clash with Sevilla, forcing the club to rule him out for the rest of the season. As a result, Man Utd will lose his services and this may have a negative impact on their EPL top 3 prospects and even whether they qualify for the Europa League Semi-finals.

Dele Alli Ruled Out for the Rest of the Season Due to an Injury

Another story of an injury that has been hitting the headlines is the sidelining of Dele Alli, now in Besiktas on loan from Everton, for the rest of the season due to a calf injury. Alli will be out for the rest of the season, as he takes time to recover. His injury has, however, been overshadowed by recent tabloid news alleging that he's not been very disciplined off the pitch.

โ€œSurgery done, all successful. I focus on full recovery now after tough weeks. My season unfortunately comes to an endโ€.

โ€œIโ€™m gonna take a break from socials and hit my recovery hard. Iโ€™ll be back when I am readyโ€.

The paper alleges that Alli's party and carefree lifestyle are to blame for his fall from grace. Alli was considered one of the best midfielders of his age but is now being thrown from one team to another. Dele Alli, however, is not to be ruled out as if he is able to regain his discipline, he is still young enough to propel his career to former glory.
