The awards are yet additional sentiment to how incredibly talented he was and how dearly beloved he was and remains to be by his fans. AKA was a one-in-a-million talent and his death is still painful and raw as it was when we all learned about his unfortunate shooting.

A Talent Robbed From the World

AKA fans and his MEGACY movement are still up in arms with the JusticeforAKA hashtag making rounds on the internet. AKA was shot and killed alongside his friend Tebello 'Tibz' Motsoane, with the two talents mercilessly robbed from the world. AKA was a huge huge talent, the likes of which we may not see for another generation. His loss remains a momentous loss to Hip Hop in Africa.
