The Day of the Gabriels: Arsenal's Gabriel Martinelli and Gabriel Jesus Put 'The Gunners' Ahead

Liverpool were a bit folly in the first half, allowing Arsenal to score two goals in 28 minutes. The first was a determined strike from Gabriel Martinelli in the 8th minute, which was topped off by another superb strike, this time by Gabriel Jesus in the 28th minute. 6 Goals for Salah in 6 Games and 8 Goals for Firmino in 8 Games Against Liverpool

Liverpool for a second looked deflated but took on the pace just before halftime. Mohamed Salah went on to score Liverpool's first in the 42nd minute. When Liverpool went for halftime, it is like Jurgen Klopp promised them a million dollars each if they won.

Liverpool came back, and from the first second of the second half, started giving Arsenal hell. Salah, however, lost a penalty in the 54th minute after a foul as Liverpool were going for goal like a raging bull going for the matador. Arsenal, in turn, stood their ground, until Roberto Firmino was subbed in.

Firmino's goal was his 8th goal in 8 games against Arsenal while Salah's was his 6th goal in 6 games against Arsenal at Anfield. The game ended at a 2-2 deadlock, denying Arsenal the crucial win, and the 3 points to boot, but giving both teams a much-deserved single point each.
