Brighton Floor Wolves as Crystal Palace Beat West Ham

In the first of EPL Gameweek 34's matches, Brighton floored Wolverhampton Wanderers as Crystal Palace beat West Ham and Brentford beat Nottingham Forest. The games have been a thrilling watch and we are excited to see how the rest of gameweek 34 will pan out.

Brighton Floor Wolves

Brighton weren't in the mood for failure as they floored Wolves a whopping 6-0 in what is one of their greatest successes in EPL 2022-23. Brighton came out guns blazing with Wolves having no clue the kind of dance of death that was waiting for them. Wolves didn't even manage a single score in the entire 90 minutes.

Triple Braces for Brighton: Undav, GroรŸ, and Welbeck Score Braces

Like the Aztecs of the ages passed, Brighton came out with all manner of weaponry, ready to ascertain territory. Brighton's Deniz Undav, Pascal GroรŸ, and Danny Welbeck scored a brace each, as Brighton showed a glimpse of just how good they are getting in this thing called football.

Danny Welbeck went on to score the fourth in the 39th minute and later went on to make it a brace for himself in the 48th minute. Undav was not done and crowned Brighton's win with his second goal in the 66th minute, making it a stellar 6-0 win for Brighton. Brighton are now eighth in Premier League Standings, with 52 points while Wolves are thirteenth with 37 points.

Crystal Palace Beat West Ham

Crystal Palace put on a strong display as they went on to beat West Ham 4-3. West Ham didn't do badly themselves but were generally the lower-quality team during the match. Jordan Ayew put Crystal Palace ahead in the 15th minute, followed by Wilfried Zaha who made it 2-0 in the 20th minute.

Jeffrey Schlupp took advantage of a sloppy mistake in West Ham's box by their keeper, and scored Crystal Palace's third in the 30th minute as Eberechi Eze, who'd been fouled, came on to convert a penalty in the 66th minute.

On West Ham's part, they capitalized on set pieces and all three of their goals were a result of corner kicks. Tomas Soucek scored their first in the 9th minute, followed by Michail Antonio who headed in their second in the 35th minute, with Nayef Aguerd making it three with his goal in the 72nd minute.

Roy Hodgson Having an Impact at Crystal Palace

Palace's win makes it another impressive win under veteran manager Roy Hodgson. The team has scored over 40% of their goal this season, 16 to be precise, under his leadership.

New Contract for Zaha at Crystal Palace

Crystal Palace will also offer Wilfried Zaha a new contract with a 200,000 Euro pay clause as Hodgson is sure that Zaha will continue having a great impact on the team. Today's win puts Crystal Palace in eleventh place in EPL Standings, with 40 points. West Ham, on the other hand, are fifteenth, with 34 points.

Brentford beat Nottingham Forest

Brentford came from one goal behind to beat Nottingham Forest 2-1, thanks to a relentless striking team and a wit that we can only imagine they'll fight to keep portraying in the English Premier League. Danilo put Nottm Forest ahead in stoppage time just before half-time as 'The Bees' came back after the break to equalize and steal the lead.
