Arsenal Make an Incredible Comeback as Man City and Chelsea Flourish: EPL GW 26 Results

EPL GW 26 carried on the excitement of the Premier League as Arsenal made an incredible comeback against Bournemouth and Manchester City and Chelsea flourished in their respective matchups. Gameweek 26 brought on the heat and we can't wait to see how the league eventually ends.

Arsenal Make an Incredible Comeback Against Bournemouth

Arsenal showed us who's boss in the Premier League by making a comeback that's one for the books against Bournemouth. Bournemouth had gotten the upper hand against Arsenal thanks to a remarkably quick goal by Philip Billing in the 1st minute. Bournemouth further cemented their lead with a second goal by Marcos Senesi in the 57th minute.

The Gunners Out to Play

Arsenal, however, didn't relent and Thomas Partey opened the scoring in the 62nd minute. It didn't take long until Ben White came in with his goal in the 70th minute. The two teams were now deadlocked, and the game went into stoppage time. Who'll take home the 3 points?

Reiss Nelson in for the Kill

By some good luck there were an additional 7 minutes added to the game and just in the nick of time, Arsenal's Reiss Nelson scored Arsenal's third goal, sending the pitch into jubilation. Arsenal players, subs, and fans were all over the place, celebrating Arsenal's remarkable feat.

Manchester City Flourish Against Newcastle United

In a very anticipated matchup, Manchester City managed to beat Newcastle but on a very thin margin. Newcastle United played the game with such fervor that we expected them to at least draw Man City. City were relieved, however, after their 2-0 win against Newcastle.

Foden and Silva Send Man City to Glory

Phil Foden opened the scoring for City in the 15th minute and as things started looking murky for them, Bernardo Silva scored the second goal in the 67th minute, a sly yet powerful strike. We also thought it was funny that the commentator kept calling Bernardo Silva "little".

Chelsea Flourish Against Leeds United

Chelsea, despite a trash season so far, managed to do some flourishing of their own as they beat Leeds United 1-0. Chelsea were not in actual terrible form as we expected but neither were they flying on the pitch. Chelsea's only goal was scored by Wesley Fofana in the 53rd minute. We hope Chelsea find their way back to glory and we've said it a million times, but we still think #PotterOut is the solution.

Tottenham Nicked by Wolves

Wolves went on to nick Tottenham 1-0, in what is seemingly a floundering run for Spurs of late. Spurs were knocked out of the FA Cup by Sheffield United last week. Read more on who qualified for the FA Cup Quarterfinals below.

Wolves' goal came from Adama Traore in the 82nd minute. Spurs didn't play an exactly poor game but were bested thanks to a tactical Traore who put the visitors on a ride. Maybe the reason for their slumpy performance is that Tottenham have been without manager Antonio Conte who's been out recovering. Expectedly, his return this week is massively awaited.

Southampton Beat Leicester City

Leicester City, despite being the team with the most possession, lacked any shots on target in their game against Southampton and lost 1-0. Southampton had a total of 5 shots on target and only needed to convert one to win, which they did. They were, however, bested by Leicester when it came to possession but, in the end, that didn't matter.

No Shots on Target for Leicester in a Whole 90 Minutes

We are still taken aback at how Leicester City didn't even manage a single shot on target in the ninety minutes of the game. What a trash season they are having.
